Singer & Composer Freddie Saldone has lived almost his whole life in the United States. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His family moved to the U.S. when he was about 5 years old. Chicago was where his family planted roots and where he grew up. However, his parents made sure that he and his four (4) other siblings continued to speak fluent Spanish and maintain pride in their Latin and Argentinian heritage.
Freddie arrived in Hollywood, California at the age of 24 with his heart filled with a mixture of hope, passion, excitement and dedication. He also found that he had a love for performing that included more than his music. Freddie had a love for acting as well. So Freddie began pounding the pavement in pursuit of a TV and Film acting career as well as a career in music. Freddie soon discovered how competitive and cut throat the acting and music businesses were but he would not give up. Freddie continued to write music and play small gigs as well as taking acting roles on stage in theatrical productions for no pay in pursuit of his dreams. Finally, seven years later, he landed his first professional acting role on a soap opera called Days Of Our Lives.
His dream of recording his music finally came true and he recorded and produced a six (6) song EP Album “La Verdad” (The Truth) of his original music for Rampart Latino Records with some incredibly talented, professional, and very well known, musicians, producers, and engineers.
